Mike Parker
Experience
Over the last 18 years his roles have involved regular contact with politicians at local and national level reporting to councilors who form Passenger Transport Authorities and liaising with government ministers, MPs, civil servants, etc.
Whilst his public transport roles have concentrated on operations and communications as a chief executive he has developed his knowledge in all the main organisational disciplines.
He has also a broad experience in the voluntary sector having at various times been a local councillor (and planning chair), a magistrate, chair of school governors, set up a Voluntary Services Council and been active in community relations in a multi-racial London borough.
