Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Whole System Approach to Health
Identifying the Issue
Strategic Solutions Ltd undertook a project to drive forward and enhance the work being carried out by a group of Chief Executives across the NHS in the East of England during considerable turbulence and change in the Health Service. This group known as the Leadership Group had identified that they needed to develop:
- A clear shared vision for the health and care system in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
- Clear priorities for joint action to keep people out of hospital, maximise recovery and discharge from hospital, and effectively re‐able people when they come out of hospital
- Develop stable governance and mechanisms so that they could achieve change together, and sustain this despite different organisational and funding pressures
